Chicago Olympics 2016
Chicago_ The Olympic Village acts as part of an urban plan to accomodate sport and the worship of performance for the Chicago 2016 Olympic bid. This project attempts to understand architecture as a vehicle for the advancement of moods and feelings. The typology of performance is reconfigured to incorporate new situations for participation and interaction between the performers and the audience. The Village is developed from a replication of elements that are organized to create visual affect while a tendon structure binds them into a cohesive whole.
