Chicago’s Red and White is a gem of a wine shop. Already known for their great design sensibility, supporting thoughtful grape growing practices and delivering value to their customers, it was a natural progression to seize an opportunity to expand from a retail wine business to a restaurant where those wines could be enjoyed with food.
When Pacific Crest Children’s asked us to design their new pediatric urgent care clinic, three potential locations were on the table. We visited each with our client, Dr. Corey Fish, and we all agreed the clear favorite was a storefront in the historic Goodrich building in the northeast Portland neighborhood of Roseway.
Located in a Central Tacoma neighborhood with a mix of single-family homes, apartment buildings, and the eclectic establishments of the Sixth Avenue business district, the Prospect endeavors to set a new standard for urban livability and offers a fresh take on the four-plex.
Located in the Wedgewood neighborhood of North Seattle, this midcentury house was in need of a makeover. The main goal of the project was to provide more connection between the segregated living spaces, update the materials, design a new kitchen and add an apartment on the lower level.
